Andrew N. Eskander, DPM

Foot & Ankle Surgeon · Wound Care Specialist

A residency-trained, Chief-Resident-trained foot & ankle surgeon serving patients across Orange County with a personal, patient-first approach.

Dr. Andrew N. Eskander
DPM · Chief Resident trained

Dr. Andrew Eskander earned his undergraduate degree in Human Biology at UC San Diego, where his achievements as a distinguished scholar earned him multiple grants and scholarships. He went on to become a distinguished scholar at Western University of Health Sciences, where he completed his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine on scholarship.

He completed a surgical residency focused on elective and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Orange Coast Medical Center in Southern California, and served as Chief Podiatry Resident — treating and performing thousands of surgeries on simple and complex foot and ankle conditions.

Dr. Eskander treats a wide variety of foot and ankle conditions, from ingrown toenails to arthroscopic procedures of the foot and ankle. His clinical interests include foot and ankle fractures, bunion and toe surgery, custom orthotics, fungal nails, heel pain, nerve pain, wound care, and diabetic foot examinations. He is fluent in Spanish and Arabic.

He approaches each patient as an individual with a unique set of needs and goals, taking the time to understand each person's circumstances and build a customized treatment plan aimed at improving their quality of life. His goal is for every patient to leave the office feeling confident and empowered to get back on their feet.

Dr. Eskander has an active sports background. He played varsity basketball in high school in Pasadena, competing in national tournaments across the country — an experience that informs his sports-medicine perspective today.

He has been involved in research throughout his career: a university-funded Marine Biology research project at UC San Diego, multiple biomechanics and gait-analysis projects in podiatric medical school, and the development of a foot & podiatry mobile app published in the App Store.

Dr. Eskander is currently an attending physician at the Fountain Valley Regional Hospital residency program, where he teaches and mentors several residents.

"I want every patient to leave my office feeling confident and empowered — ready to put their best foot forward."
